CRYOMIN TECHNOLOGY
Where Ultra-Low Temperatures Meet High Performance
SFCL has joined forces with PETRONAS to co-develop a cryogenic distillation process powered by Rotating Packed Bed (RPB) technology for the removal of CO₂ and N₂ from natural gas. Tailored for offshore platforms—particularly those in remote locations—the compact system integrates three RPB units to enable on-site CO₂ and N₂ separation as well as natural gas liquefaction, eliminating the need for solvents or additional onshore treatment.

How Our RPB-Based Cryogenic System Works

Our RPB-based cryogenic system replaces bulky towers with compact, high-efficiency units for stepwise CO₂ and N₂ removal. From bulk to deep CO₂ capture, and final nitrogen removal, this modular process delivers LNG with reduced footprint, lower energy use, and superior adaptability.
Professional Collaboration Highlight
Working alongside PETRONAS, one of the world’s leading energy companies, we demonstrate the industrial relevance and scalability of our Cryomin technology.
